Boss Ho-Oh

Mt. Faraway (Japanese: はるかなる れいほう Sacred Mt. Faraway) is a dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. It is home to Ho-Oh and contains 40 floors. HM Surf is required to enter and the game will be saved compulsorily before entering.

Mt. Faraway is the fourth and final dungeon in the quest for the Mirage Pokémon. After defeating Suicune in Northwind Field, it will turn the Sunset Feather into the Rainbow Feather, allowing access to this dungeon.

Ho-Oh has the moves Safeguard, Fire Blast, Gust, and Recover. Ho-Oh can not be recruited the first time this dungeon is completed. However, it is very easy to do so the second time it is defeated.

The Friend Bow can be found behind a locked door on floor 30 of the dungeon.
