Each location in the Generation IV games has its own identification number used internally by the game. They are enumerated here, in order.
Trivia
- Due to the appearance of Johto, in addition to Kanto and Hoenn (from where Pokémon can be transferred via Pal Park), many fans express hope that remakes of Pokémon Gold and Silver will be made. Strangely, there is also location data for Sinnoh itself, indicating that it may be used in said remakes.
- Also programmed into the games are locations for potential future event Pokémon given away all the way up until 2016, including one for the 20th movie.
