J's clients are a number of people behind Pokémon Hunter J's numerous crime sprees. They commission J and her ruthless cronies with the tasks of both wild Pokémon and those already owned by Trainers and having her sell the stolen Pokémon to them. They were mentioned by Officer Jenny when she told Ash and company about J's crime spree in Mutiny in the Bounty, but didn't physically appear until Ill-Will Hunting.
