It does not seem to serve any real purpose once the player has completed story mode. Also, once the player completes story mode and the hot spring is accessible by the east crossroad that leads to the dungeons, there is no purpose to the place. The Hot Spring is an area in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. It does not seem to serve any real purpose once the player has completed story mode. The Pokémon the player finds there are all NPCs. Torkoal, the town elder, is the only Pokémon of any importance, as he plays a minor part in the story mode. Also, once the player completes story mode and the hot spring is accessible by the east crossroad that leads to the dungeons, there is no purpose to the place. Almost nothing happens, and the NPCs say nothing of importance.

How to visit

Once the player succeeds in defeating Waterfall Cave, the player Pokémon and the partner will be directed here as this is the end area of Waterfall Cave.
