Heart Swap (Japanese: ハートスワップ Heart Swap) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation IV. It is the signature move of Manaphy.
Effect
Heart Swap switches any increase and/or decrease in stat changes with the target.
In the anime
In Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea, Manaphy used Heart Swap to swap Ash and Jack Walker's bodies in order to force Ash and friends to come along. Later, it used the move to calm the Pokémon being disturbed by The Phantom's supersonic waves. Exactly how this method worked is unknown.

Manaphy swaps Zelda's and Donkey Kong's heart.
Manaphy uses Heart Swap when coming out of a Poké Ball. This switches the controls of the players of the two characters closest to Manaphy when it launches the attack. Damage meters are also swapped, and if a character is knocked out, the player controlling the character at that time loses a stock (instead of the player who originally controlled that character). After approxiamtely 15-30 seconds, the controls will be returned to normal.
