Flying Press (Japanese: フライングプレス Flying Press) is a damage-dealing Fighting-type move introduced in Generation VI. It is the signature move of Hawlucha. In Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Pikachu will be able to learn the move in the cosplay form "Pikachu Libré" for contests.
Effect
Flying Press deals damage.
Despite being a Fighting-type move, the damage dealt is actually a combination of Fighting and Flying types, and thus its effectiveness against a given Pokémon differs from other Fighting-type moves. However, for all other purposes it is a Fighting-type move; only Fighting-type Pokémon can receive the same-type attack bonus on Flying Press, and it is unaffected by the Sky Plate and Sharp Beak.
If Flying Press is used while under the effect of Electrify or Normalize, damage is calculated using Flying type and Electric or Normal type modifiers instead.
If the target has used Minimize, Flying Press will never miss and its base power is doubled.
Flying Press can hit non-adjacent opponents in Triple Battles.
