Chikorita's Big Upset (Japanese: チコリータはごきげんななめ!? Chicorita's Jealousy!?) is the 136th episode of the Pokémon anime. It was first broadcast in Japan on February 24, 2000 and in the United States on January 20, 2001.
Synopsis
Ash and a Trainer are having a tense Pokémon battle. As Chikorita was getting tired, Ash decides to use Pikachu and when he returns Chikorita to its Poké Ball, Chikorita refuses. Evening came and Ash still tries to return Chikorita to its Poké Ball. The trainer's mother called his son in for dinner. Ash and Co. went to a Pokémon Center and called Professor Oak. Ash told him about the Zephyr Badge. A short time later, all of Ash's Pokémon are eating except Chikorita. Pikachu bring a piece of Pokémon Food to Chikorita but Chikorita bats it away with its leaf. A glass-wearing Nurse Joy asks Ash some questions and told Ash that Chikorita is jealous of Pikachu. She suggests to put Chikorita together with plants. At night, Pikachu went to find Chikorita. Chikorita went out off the Pokémon Center and went to a warehouse to sleep, but was awakened by four Template:Type2 Pokémon. Chikorita defeated Primeape and the other three kneeled down and said that Chikorita is their friend. Chikorita's jealously subsides and become friend with Pikachu.
