Aura Sphere is a Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation IV. It deals quite a bit more damage than other moves that do not miss, such as Swift.

Pokémon
Lucario. A blue-green ball forms in front of Lucario's hand. Lucario then fires at its opponent. The size of the sphere can vary depending on how long Lucario charges the ball.
- Used by Sir Aaron's Lucario, in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew.
- Used by Maylene's Lucario in Lost Leader Strategy!.
Palkia. A pink ball forms in between Palkia's hand. Palkia then fires at its opponent. The size of the sphere can vary depending on how long Palkia charges the ball.
- Used by a wild Palkia in The Rise of Darkrai.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Aura Sphere is Lucario's standard Special move. Like all its moves, Aura Sphere is more powerful if Lucario has taken more damage.

- Its appearance, description, and typing closely resemble the Hadouken technique from Street Fighter.
- Lucario and Togekiss are the only non-Legendary Pokémon that can learn Aura Sphere, besides the Riolu from Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia.
