Daisy Oak (Japanese: オーキド・ナナミ Nanami Ōkido) is the older sister of Gary/Blue, and the granddaughter of Professor Oak. She is known as May (Japanese: サツキ Satsuki) in the Electric Tale of Pikachu manga.
In the Games
In Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow, as well as in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, Daisy gives the player a Town Map if he or she visits her after receiving a starter Pokémon. She gives free grooming to one of the player's Pokémon in the Generation II games once per day between 3 and 4 PM, and in FireRed and LeafGreen after the player defeats the Elite Four.
Also in FireRed and LeafGreen, Daisy will tell a player how happy their Pokémon are. She's well-known for being adored by all kinds of Pokémon. It is said that when she's around, even the most ferocious Pokémon calm down. Daisy enjoys tea every day, and buys hers from the Celadon Department Store. She's also a champion Pokémon Coordinator, having won the Spring Pokémon Contest some years back.
In the Electric Tale of Pikachu Manga
She does not appear to exist in the anime, but in the manga adaptation thereof, she is known as May, and Ash has a very obvious and powerful crush on her. In fact, his infatuation and desire to impress her by showing up Gary is one of the primary reasons he becomes a trainer.
In the Pokémon Special Manga
In the Pokémon Special manga, Daisy works as Prof. Oak's research assistant and is in charge of the Kanto laboratory whenever Prof Oak goes to Johto. She owns a Chansey that her grandfather gave her and a Clefairy she uses for Pokémon Contests. She was also a close friend of Magma Admin Courtney when she was a Coordinator.

In the Pokémon Zensho Manga
Pokémon Zensho depicts the scenario in which she gives Ash a town map. Later on, while in Lavender Town with Gary, Ash listens to Oak relate a story about how she and her brother lost their parents in a car accident when they were young, resulting in him raising them since.
