Ash's Mijumaru (Japanese: サトシのミジュマル Satoshi's Mijumaru) is the second Pokémon that Ash caught in the Isshu region.

History

In the preview, Ash was shown using his Mijumaru battling against Dento's Yanappu in his very first Gym battle in the Isshu region, against Sanyou City's Gym Leader Dento.

During the battle, it was seen blocking a SolarBeam and Yanappu's Bullet Seed with the help of its removable yellow seashell feature in the center of its body and also using it as an attacking item.

Its moves are not known yet.

Trivia

Mijumaru's capture was first revealed in a short preview aired after DP190, featuring all the Isshu starters.
