Judgment (move): Difference between revisions

Judgment (Japanese: さばきのつぶて Judgment Strike) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation IV. It is the signature move of Arceus, and like Arceus, varies in type depending on the plate held by the user.

Effect

Judgment inflicts damage and has no secondary effect. The type of Judgment depends on the type of plate held by the user, being Normal-type if there is no held plate.

Trivia

• Judgment has the same base power, Accuracy, and PP as Earthquake.
  • In fact, provided Arceus's Attack and Sp.Atk stats are identical and the battle is a single battle, Judgment, when used by an Arceus holding an Earth Plate, is absolutely identical to Earthquake other than its damage category and its inability to hit a Pokémon underground.

• In the anime and Pokémon Battle Revolution, when Judgment is used, it resembles Super Buu's Human Genocide technique from the Dragon Ball series.
