Trivia

  • This is the first digitally colored episode, although the animation used in the opening was first used in OK! in EP117, 144 episodes before this one.
    • Even though this episode was digitally colored, flashbacks of James's first Victreebel as a Weepinbell that were never shown in anime before, were colored the previous way.
  • The dub title is a play on Humphrey Bogart's line, "Here's looking at you, kid", from the movie Casablanca.
  • Although Weepinbell evolves into Victeebel through the use of a Leaf Stone, James' Weepinbell evolves without one.

Errors

  • In the English dub the Pokédex says that Elekid is Template:P2. Elekid actually evolves into Electabuzz.

Dub edits

In other languages

  • French: Le doux parfum de l'amitié
  • Italian: Un Pokémon da catturare
  • Latin American Spanishi: ¡Te estoy viendo Elekid!
  • Spanish: Mi objetivo es Elekid
