Brave Bird (Japanese: ブレイブバード Brave Bird) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation IV.

Effect

Brave Bird inflicts damage, and the user receives recoil damage equal to 1/3 of the damage done to the target.

In the anime

Pokémon

Staraptor. Staraptor flies up, closes its wings as it flies, is coated by fire, and dives down on the foe. Then the fire disappears and the user is covered by a blue aura and it strikes the foe.

Staravia. Same as above.
