In the anime

Two Entei have appeared in the anime...sort of. The first appearance was in the movie Spell of the Unown, in which an illusionary Entei appeared to Molly Hale after she made a wish on the Unown. He served as a replacement father for her while her real father, Spencer, was trapped in the Unown world. Molly's connection of Entei to her father is driven home by their shared voice actors (Naoto Takenaka in Japanese and Dan Green in English).

The real Entei later appeared in the episode Entei at Your Own Risk.

Other appearances

Super Smash Brothers Melee

When released from a Pokéball, Entei unleases a volcanic Fire Spin that deals a lot of damage to any opponents that get trapped in it.
