Maurice and his Torterra
Maurice (Japanese: カツミ Katsumi) is a Pokémon Trainer who appeared in The Rise of Darkrai. His English voice actor is Joshua Swanson and his Japanese voice actor is 山本博 Hiroshi Yamamoto.
He, along with Dai and Maki, challenged Ash and co. to a battle. He goes up again Ash himself, versus his Pikachu, who makes a folly by commanding a Thunderbolt on Maurice's Torterra, likely not realizing it's Grass/Ground, and then switches to Iron Tail.
