Description | This Flying-type Pokémon user and Johto Gym Leader has a serious demeanor and can be a bit hardheaded. He aims to become a great Trainer like his father. |
Falkner (Japanese: ハヤト Hayato) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. He forms a sync pair with Swellow. This sync pair was first made available on August 5, 2021. This pair can be raised to 6★ EX from the day it was released.
Falkner also forms a sync pair with his Pidgeot. This pair can be obtained by exchanging a BP Sync Pair Voucher since August 28, 2023. This pair can be raised to 6★ EX since it first released, though this pair lacks an EX style.

Falkner's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Falkner uses Swellow during his rematch with the player in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, as well as at the Pokémon World Tournament in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Swellow's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby.
Pidgeot is Falkner's signature Pokémon during his rematch with the player in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, as well as at the Pokémon World Tournament in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
