Wish Upon a Jirachi is the fifth officially revealed event in Pokémon Pokopia. It runs from June 23 to July 8. Unlike previous events, which are hardcoded into the game, it is not possible to switch the Nintendo Switch 2's system time to the event period to participate in it, as an internet connection is required to participate.

Jirachi appears in front of Pokémon Centers that the player has built. Upon befriending Ditto, it teaches the recipe for wish notes and sets up its shop inside, displacing the Pokémon currently there. Jirachi will sell the player a selection of items in exchange for sparkling wish notes, an event-only currency found by completing requests from Pokémon and transforming wish notes into sparkling wish notes.
