More Spores for Hoppip (Japanese: ハネッコのわたげあつめ Collecting Hanecco's Fluff) is the first event in Pokémon Pokopia, and runs annually from March 5 to March 25. As events are hardcoded into the game, it is possible to switch the Nintendo Switch 2's system time to the event period to participate in it, and an internet connection is also not required to participate.

Hoppip appears in front of Pokémon Centers that the player has built. Upon befriending Ditto, it sets up its shop inside, displacing the Pokémon currently there. Hoppip will sell the player a selection of items in exchange for cotton spores, an event-only currency found on Dream Islands. Some of these items are needed to build event-exclusive habitats that attract Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff. Cotton spores can be found all over Dream Islands, both in the overworld and in caves.

The event shop can be found at the counter inside any Pokémon Center.
