Other Pokémon

Unless I'm mistaken, the "Other Pokémon" sections on Masters EX character articles are for Pokémon seen during story appearances, while Pokémon that don't appear as recruitable sync pairs with those Trainers are simply listed in their batter appearances. That's how I've always seen it work, if memory serves. -- FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 00:33, 6 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hala

Hala actually isn't an Elite Four member in Masters EX. He's never referred to as one in the game, and he doesn't have a skill themed after the Elite Four. The Masters EX lineup for the Alola Elite Four matches that seen in USUM, with Molayne being an Elite Four member instead of Hala. It's similar to how Wallace is not classified as a Champion in Masters EX, despite him being one in Emerald. -- FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 16:56, 22 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Doesn't he appear in Champion's Stadium though? Wouldn't that be enough to qualify him to be given the Elite Four category? Skarloeyisyoung (talk) 21:40, 22 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Wallace can also appear there, because he can be Champions in the core series games, even though he isn't one in Masters. Same for Leaf and N appearing at Victory Road. In other words: these are just references. The fact remains that the four members of the Alola Elite Four are confirmed by both in-game dialogue and theme skills: Molayne, Olivia, Acerola, and Kahili. Hala has no such evidence going for him. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 21:49, 22 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
To specify, I meant that Leaf can be a Champion as a player character, but she isn't one in Masters (not counting NC), and N appears on Victory Road despite not being a Champion in any canon. He wasn't probably the best example I could've provided for my point, but said point still stands. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 21:53, 22 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Can that category be removed from "Hala (Masters)"? Or should we ask for a third opinion?.--FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 17:07, 30 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
I say given Champion Stadium it makes sense he can stay but ig ask for a third opinion and whatever that is feel free to take as what to do and go ahead! Skarloeyisyoung (talk) 17:54, 30 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
I've started a discussion regarding this on Talk:Hala (Masters). Feel free to participate and respond to the opinions presented there. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 01:27, 5 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Emmet

Emmet's Trainer Lodge sync pair is technically datamined, since while him being added there was revealed a month in advance, his partner Pokémon has only been found out through a datamine. However, since his release is just a couple days away, it's fine as it is. -- FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 12:29, 29 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
