Elite Four?

Skarloeyisyoung (talk • contribs) has added the "Elite Four Trainers" category to this article. When I asked them about this edit, they said it was on the grounds of him appearing in the Champion Stadium. I personally disagree, since Hala doesn't have any skills themed around the Elite Four status, while Molayne and the other Alola E4 members do. In addition, Hala isn't ever referred to as an Elite Four member in Masters EX, while Molayne and the other three are. I feel Hala's appearance at the Champion Stadium is just a reference to his role in SM, similar to Wallace appearing at the stadium being a reference to his role in Emerald. -- FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 15:03, 4 May 2026 (UTC)

I don't think he should have the category. If we were going by Champion Stadium, then we would also have to include Professor Kukui and Hau as Champions, which they never were in the games (just the final challenge of the Pokémon League). PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 16:58, 4 May 2026 (UTC)

That's a good point, I certainly wouldn't think that Hau or Kukui should be categorized as a Champion. If we're 100% sure that Hala has never been referred to as an Elite Four member in-game otherwise, then I would agree with removing the category.
