French Merch
Heya, first off I wanted to thank you for your contribution, the documentation of foreign TCG merchandise is a project that defitnetly needs some love, so your contributions are much appreciated, but I wanted to let you know that I have moved them over to a new article which you can find here. The other merchandise page is intended to document English merchandise and is already a bit over-bloated, splitting the pages allows us to avoid exasperating the situation. Hope this brings some clarity, and thanks again for your contribution to the project. :) -- 4iamking (talk) 21:38, 5 July 2023 (UTC)
Categories for categories
Thanks for making the Trainer's Toolkits category! By the way, when making a category page, make sure to add the category that it is a subcategory of. It can also help to add a description of what pages are contained in that category. Happy editing! Landfish7 13:18, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
Moving pages
The correct way to move pages to a new title is to use the Special:MovePage feature. That way, histories are maintained and talk pages also move alongside the page. That being said, Holofoil is something that is used on more than TCG related material, with things like Cracked Ice Holofoil being used on the box for Pokémon Emerald Version and many Pokémon Center Gifts with Purchase, which is why that page exists without the (TCG) tag. TCG Rarities
We previously had a large push to fix the rarities of Generations 1-4 to reflect what is accurate to the official printed material to the time. The recent edits you've been doing have been changing those official representations to rarities that are no longer accurate. What sources are you using? As far as our TCG experts know, Rare Secret was never a rarity used at the time, so we need a source to keep your edit. MaverickNate 23:33, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
Moving TCG energy set pages
Hi, I'm just letting you know I undid your moves to the energy set pages. In general pages with a lot of links to them (like TCG set pages) should really be discussed and planned for before they get moved, as doing so would in our practice also mean relinking each card, which wasn't done here. Also as far as energy sets go specifically what the set is called "officially" really depends where you look and there truly isn't a single way to write it (its the same thing with the promo sets btw). They are at their current names because that best represents name continuity. I should also say the Pokemon.com card database is problematic and contains a lot of inconsistent information; sources like TCG Live or the asian databases maintained by TPC would hold more weight as they are more throughly vetted.
If you want to start a discussion on moving the pages you are more than welcome to do so (I would recommend looking at more than just pokemon.com though to inform this choice); Most importantly and I want to stress that any move of a major page should have consensus and needs to be planned for. 4iamking 00:22, 30 September 2025 (UTC)
Vileplume Enhanced Blister
Hi, regarding your edit here, all the blisters featuring cards of one evolutionary line always are named after the final evolution, as it's usually the only card with special holofoil. Considering the product isn't out yet, do you have any source as to whether the product is officially named that way?
Also, I generally didn't see anyone putting the images of the back of TCG products in the merchandise articles. If you'd like to add them, feel free to add those to all the products on the Mega Evolution TCG Series merchandise page. I'll comment your edit for now to keep the whole article coherent. - Hi! I think you’re confusing Enhanced 2-Pack Blisters with Checklane Blisters here. This is the first time that an Enhanced 2-Pack Blister features an evolutionary line. Enhanced 2-Pack Blisters have always been named all three Pokémon’s names.
- FYI: as far as I can tell, the term “Enhanced 2-Pack Blister” has never been officially used by Pokémon. They don’t actually have official names: https://www.pokemoncenter.com/product/290-85255/pokemon-tcg-armarouge-revavroom-and-houndstone-cards-with-2-booster-packs-and-coin?srsltid=AfmBOor2yzGgif5LTwNYuhpys82Ol4KZWiX5hwuaVdYdQS1lVbQhH-dV RickvdBelt (talk) 09:53, 20 February 2026 (UTC)
