Also, where did you here Malice in Wonderland???? MERRY CHRISTMAS 15:25, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

Malice in Wonderland came directly from You really should not tell me to put "rumors" when this site has reported wrong titles twice in the last two months. - unsigned comment from HoennMaster (talkcontribs)

Twice out of how many occurences? Cartoon Network's got "Malice in Wonderland" for DP043 as well. If any recently-reported dub title is wrong, it's that of the following episode. --Shiningpikablu252 15:35, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
Okay, so who is this Malice person???? MERRY CHRISTMAS 15:42, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
The DP043 dub title is an evil spin on Alice in Wonderland. --Shiningpikablu252 15:44, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
Yea, but where does the Malice part come into play???? MERRY CHRISTMAS 15:46, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

Malice refers to the illusions that Mismagius makes. - unsigned comment from HoennMaster (talkcontribs)

Dub titles!

Make sure that when you put them in after an episode airs, you make them italic, which it states in the MoS! MoldyOrange 02:51, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

Don't have a cow, so I forgot one time big deal. There is no reason to freak out about it.

----HoennMaster 04:47, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

Yeah but it is now another time... Don't forget again! MoldyOrange 03:02, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

How about before you started freaking out and basically yell at a person, you ask nicely. I did put them in italics, and it didn't work.

I would have left the "!"s because there has been a trend that seems to have lasted a while, but we will all find out when the title card is shown whether there is a point or not... I guess. MoldyOrange 05:00, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

It was on Almia's actual page and I presume this came from a Japanese source or the game itself. We'll know for sure come November though. Aura-Knight 13:22, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

K-Zone and DP099

First of all the details of the episode aren't even correct. K-Zone said that they would encounter Aaron after Dawn caught Swinub and before they reached Celestic. Yes they were accurate on some of the episode but this time I believe they were making up crap. That happened to get lucky and that's it.

On another note, they said that Ash would get the "Lava Badge" from Crasher Wake. Yeah... --ケンジガール 06:19, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Yes, I know all of that, but they still said Aaron would appear and he is. So the note is there.

----HoennMaster 06:21, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Saying that he would appear DOES NOT equal details. They knew absolutely nothing and just guessed. Why should we give them credit for guessing? Anyone can figure out that all of the Sinnoh Elite Four are going to appear thanks to Lucian's flashback. Next will probably be Bertha and then Flint. Should I get mentioned when they do appear? I don't think so. --ケンジガール 06:23, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

You have no idea that they are guessing, your assuming. Obviously they have some connection otherwise they wouldn't have been right about all of that. So what if all they said was he would appear, that is still in the magazine and thus a detail. Obviously we wouldn't put that for Flint and Bertha because they weren't mentioned in the magazine!

----HoennMaster 06:29, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Since when is K-Zone the holy grail to everything that is right? It's a stupid children's magazine. If they can't even figure out that Crasher Wake gives out the Fen Badge. If they actually had ACCURATE information about Aaron's appearance then it would be notable. This was something said 5 months ago and they said this episode would air right after Dawn captured Swinub. I don't care that they said he would appear. That doesn't mean that they knew with out a shadow-of-a-doubt that he would appear.
I take it you didn't know I was an admin did you? --ケンジガール 06:33, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

The limit is 3 edits for editing User Pages or Sub-User Pages and User Space is where the User Page is.--Coolピカチュウ! 10:10, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Do we get in trouble for doing more then three? Because I think I may have done more then that in one day. So I can only create three sub pages a day?

----HoennMaster 10:28, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Yes you can get in trouble and yes you can do 3 pages per day that would count for your 3 per day edits.--Coolピカチュウ! 10:33, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Oops. I made more then 3 edits a day when I was adding my user tags. I would add a lot and then save the changes so I didn't lose them and then go add some more.

Oh. Well just dont do that agasin and use the preview button.--Coolピカチュウ! 10:42, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

User Name change

Hey, I heard you want to change your User name. You need a good reason why. For example, the reason mine was changed was because I originally spelled my user name wrong. And for DCM, Cipher and Diby, his original name was too long. When you get your reason, you must go and tell Zhen Lin--Tavisource 21:54, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

Well, I doubt my reason qualifies as a good reason. Thanks anyway.

----HoennMaster 01:10, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Slow down on editing the User: namespace. There are only three userspace edits allowed per day, and you have gone over the limit. Editing your userpage too much will lead to it being locked again. Instead of making multiple small edits, why not instead use the preview button (Alt + Shift + P) to check your edits before saving the page? Thank you. --- Kogoro | Talk to me | 09:12, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

I do do three edits per day....on my time. I don't know how the site time works so I have to go by my time. I can only edit during this time of the day, plus I can't help if I forgot to add something in and didn't remember it. I didn't know about the limit at first but now I only do three. Also, I hate to be mean, but your not an why are you checking how many times I edit my page a day? I'm curious.

Anyone can do so, Hoenn-boy. Θρtιmαtum♏Talk|Links 01:58, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

I realize that, but it just seems weird to me I guess. Unless your tracking that case that's good....I think......

----HoennMaster 02:02, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

People generally don't track users to check edits, but if you're patrolling RC, it's not too hard to notice when a single userpage has more then three or so entries. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 02:04, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Oh yeah....I forgot about that link. I never use it here since I have everything in my watch list.

----HoennMaster 02:06, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Please check the new userspace policy.
"In addition, users making three edits multiple days in a row will be considered a mockery of the rules, and the offending user will be penalized."
Please, please use the preview button. Thanks, RexRacer -talk 02:09, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
I was patrolling the Recent changes that night, and I happened to notice over 3 instances where you edited in the userspace.- Kogoro | Talk to me | 02:11, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Again I say, I know about only three edits per day. And I do use the preview button. However my computer is glitchy at some times and things don't go through. Not to mention format doesn't always agree with my computer. I can't help the way my computer is and that I'm a forgetful person and that sometimes I press the wrong button. I have already said twice that I know the rules now. So you people can get off my back.

You do realize your replying to a year and a half old discussion right? The one edit per day is only right now because of the high traffic. --HoennMaster 04:38, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

normally, a fake title wouldnt be notable, but given the sheer size of those fake titles, and ripple effect throughout the community, they can be noted on the articles.
also, please remove the line break from your signature, it is against the signature policy. -- MAGNEDETH 20:44, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

why did you have to respond on my page? you have a page too. and i see you decided not to follow the rules and remove the line break in your sig. but, in anycase, when it comes to anime stuff, that isnt my territory. however, i DO know about this title mis-match, and i DO NOT know any others. if i DONT follow the anime, and i DO know this, then thats pretty big, and should be put in the article. HOWEVER, my word isnt big enough, i feel as though a member of the Editorial Board should technically have the final word here. -- MAGNEDETH 22:10, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

I haven't change my signature because I got of the computer. I don't spend all my time here.

----HoennMaster 01:36, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

neither do i, but fact that you responded AFTER i said the above comment prompted me to think you ignored it. although, i now realize you arent using a line break, your doing it by hand, which is still against the rules. -- MAGNEDETH 02:09, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

Now I'm confused....I'm just pressing the signature button, and I've changed my signature.

you sigh them way down here. and thats against the rules. just put it at the end of your text. like this --> -- MAGNEDETH 02:19, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

Oh I see. I hope you can answer this. I copied the color coding example in the signature policy page but the link to my talk page won't work. Do you know why? --HoennMaster (talk) 02:23, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

well, if you tested it here on your talk page, it wont work. an example of this is how my talk page link in my sig works here, but not on my talk page. its because youre already on my talk page, like how were already on your talk page. if you want to double check, go say something on my page, it should work. -- MAGNEDETH 02:27, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

Wow do I feel stupid...thanks! --HoennMaster (talk) 02:30, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

its alright, and may i make a suggestion? you could easily change the color of "Master" in your sig, and have it link to your talk page, eliminating the need for the tiny "talk". you dont have to do that, im just suggesting it. -- MAGNEDETH 02:36, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

I tried to do that and failed miserably. --HoennMaster (talk) 02:45, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

It's still a valid point. It is unusual for them to take so little time, no matter how they got there. Nothing has been stated about anything being ironic. Glinn Mgraw 03:17, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

There is no reason to post it, they take a blimp there. All the note said was they take one episode to get from city to city, they take a blimp so it has not purpose to be there. This isn't listed for all those other quick place to place travels, so this is no exception. And yes, the original contributor said it was ironic. Aw yes, forgot about that, sorry if I sounded harsh Magnedeth. --HoennMaster 03:29, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

you didnt sound harsh, its ok. does the article mention the blimp at all? if not, it should, to avoid confusion. -- MAGNEDETH 03:35, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

Character dub names

Whenever a character debuts dubbed, I suggest running the closed-captioning track to get the spelling of a name, instead of trying to get it by ear. No matter how accurate anyone thinks they can get names by ear, doing so is the least accurate method of getting dub name spellings. Closed captioning is far more reliable than the ear, and is the best source for new debuts (older characters should have access to DVD subtitles). There are even a few cases where the closed captioning are the only ways to get a dub name. Only if the audio and closed-captioning contradict, such as the audio saying Bert but the CC saying Ernie, should the audio be followed.

If you don't know how to turn on the closed-captioning track, I suggest reading your TV's owner's manual to find out how. Pretty much every modern TV is capable of running closed captioning through some method or another without the use of external equipment. --Shiningpikablu252 14:04, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Ok, looky at DP001. Hover over Ash's Aipom. It says and links to Ash's Aipom. It's rdr to Dawn's Ambipom. It doesn't matter. Keep it that way for those who don't want to know about it until later. ht14 04:02, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

I apologize for intruding on the conversation, but spoiler links only apply to the episode articles. Everything else is fair game. Even though my anime policy page is a proposed policy, it backs up the spoiler links issue. Besides, most people will know Cacnea as James's, not Gardenia's. So in this case, HoennMaster would be right. Just putting in my two cents in order to prevent an edit war. --rockersk08 04:15, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

Reason !!!

Hey HM, I am here to talk about that edit. I used to do that kind of edits during japanese episode airing (few months ago) then KG (Kenji Girl) told me about this thing that we should edit that kind of stuff after the complete airing of the episode not in the middle of the airing and after that I started to follow that thing. So, it is better to edit that kind of info after its complete airing. I just wanted to share my experience & to clarify my edit and I think I am done. I hope that you can understand what I am trying to say. Thank you. --♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 12:26, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

Zoom in on this picture 100812_01.jpg and you can clearly see Ash's Gliscor using X-scissor against Paul's Drapion. has this pic for the episode that is scheduled to air in 8/12 and shows the same pic, although the pic is in the episode that is scheduled to air in 8/5 probably a sign that Ash's Gliscor will be in both episode. --アヌビス 00:00, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

I've already seen the picture. I undid your edit because Gliscor was already listed on that page, which you would have noticed had you checked. And no, you can not clearly see it is Gliscor. Blowing the picture up distorts it. You can't tell 100%. --HoennMaster 00:15, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
You can't see the move X-Scissor being clearly shown? which in all of Ash's Pokemon Gliscor is the only one who has ever used the move. --アヌビス 00:26, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
When you enlarged it it barely looks like an X-Scissor. It's not even a complete X and you can see what looks like a body part above it. --HoennMaster 00:51, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

How is it not trivia?

The fact that all six sages give out a Support move-type TM instead of, say, six varying Physical/Special/Support TMs is worth mentioning.

It could have a deeper meaning that just them being regretful. It could mean that they are really pacifist people (but I did not put that because that is unconfirmed at this point).

If you could kindly explain why it isn't trivia? I just want to know.

--Mackinz of SoulSilver 13:32, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

It already shows that they give out TMs in the table on that page and should also be in the summary above the chart. It's important information for that page and thus doesn't belong in trivia. --HoennMaster 14:48, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

For your reverts on the pages: Jessie's Koromori and C-Gear, you're getting blocked for 2 days. Thank you. Jellotalk 05:36, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

It is only to be used to replace {{cleanup}}, {{bad picture}} and {{incomplete}} when they are all on the same page. It cannot only replace two of them. --SnorlaxMonster 06:58, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

I'm sorry I started an edit war with you, I assure you I didn't even realise they were both your edits I had undone, unlikely coincidence. I do not intent to make enemys on Bulbapedia, so here is my amends :) Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 10:14, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

{{incomplete}} and {{outdated}}

If you add these to a page (like you did here), please make sure to use the "needs" parameter to define what the article is lacking. What does the Trade article need? You added the tag over a month ago, but we aren't sure why... —darklordtrom 10:01, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

Hmmm....I swore that I put what it needs but I guess I was thinking about another page. Anyway it should have been obvious back then anyway, it needed Generation V info. Still needs a little updating in that regard anyway. --HoennMaster 18:08, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

Hey HM, if I'm not wrong, we have only added a party image to Ash's article not any other character. Ash's article is huge unlike other articles so it contains all the images including his clothing, party etc. Dent's article is a kind of stub and we really don't need to put that team pic. As we have mentioned Ash in maid outfit, May in her swim suit etc then why can't we put that kind of pic here? As you said, I also don't want to start an edit war so I thought discussing it before undoing it again will be good. ♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 15:25, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

We have it on Dawn's as well and we did have it on Brock's until Happiny evolved and we put them right above the On Hand section of their Pokémon. The crossdressing picture is kind of a bad example in this case and I don't even support it being there because I think it is stupid, that's just me though. --HoennMaster 18:39, 16 December 2010 (UTC)
Hmm... True. I'll try to find another place for it if there's any, otherwise I'll request a Sr. to delete it. Anyway, thanks for the clarification. ♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 16:39, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Don't delete it, just move it to the clothing article. --HoennMaster 17:17, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Okay :) ♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 17:24, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Since you're the active one, kindly do me a favor. Have a look at this and kindly try to fix it and add it in the Sweep Slap article instead. The thing is that only Pokémon with tails can learn the Sweep Slap and Chillarmy also used its Tail to hit the foe while they use hands for double slap (except Skitty, because of its ultra small hands). My laptop's battery is almost over and I've to sleep now. So, it'll be great if you fix them. Thanks ♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 16:45, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
Done. :) --HoennMaster 17:19, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

Double or Sweep ?

May I ask, was ever stated wich move Chillarmy used or are you just assuming ? Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 17:20, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

It's fairly obvious it's not Doubleslap. When a Pokémon uses Doubleslap (in the anime) they repeatedly hit the other Pokémon. When Chillarmy attacked it struck Oshawott twice with its tail with force. that matches the description of Sweep Slap. They haven't changed DoubleSlap's anime appearance in over 13 years so they aren't going to randomly do it for a new Pokémon. Plus, Sweep Slap is Chillarmy's signature move. --HoennMaster 17:25, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

I suppose it is very likely, OK, sorry, just being noisy Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 17:26, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

It's ok. It's never bad to make sure something is right :) --HoennMaster 17:28, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
I watched the episode again, Iris stated it was "Ofuku Binta" aka DoubleSlap Ataro 18:07, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
I checked and Iris did say "Ofuku Binta" which means Double slap but I still think it's an error just like Snorlax's protect, Combusken's Flamethrower, Nosepass's hyper beam etc. I guess, we have to wait for its future appearances to make it confirm. ♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 13:51, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
