Welcome to Bulbapedia, Blob55!

As a new user, you may wish to learn a few things that will be useful in your editing:

  • For a basic overview of wiki code, see this page.
  • The manual of style is very important. Make sure to read it. It outlines all official policies of Bulbapedia.
  • The word Pokémon is spelled with a capital P and an accented é. The P, of course, is accessed easily by holding Shift and pressing the P key, while the é can be accessed using Alt + 130 or Alt + 0233 on a Windows computer, and Option + e, then e again on a Mac. Otherwise, you can click it in the character palette below the editbox.
  • The word Poké Ball is spelled as two words. The "Poké" part is identical to the four beginning letters in "Pokémon"; "Ball" is spelled with a captial B (which is, again, accessed by holding Shift and pressing the B key). The spelling "Pokéball" arises frequently, but is incorrect.
  • The word "you" and all forms of it should not be used on encyclopedic pages unless it is a quote from Pokémon media. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, not a walkthrough.
  • On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
  • The use of link templates is official policy. For an explanation on their use, see the page on shortlinks.
  • If you happen to spot a vandal in the recent changes that has not been dealt with, please see this page for how to deal with it.
  • A list of pages that are linked to, but have not been created, can be found at this page. A list of short articles that may require more information can be found here, while a list of articles that need improvement can be found here.
  • For a future capture, release, trade, or evolution of a Pokémon belonging to a main character of the anime, please do not create or move the page to reflect your suspicions, even if they are shared by many others. Policy here is to wait until the episode in which the event happens takes place is aired, unless there is substantial evidence for the suspicion (such as Brock's Happiny being held in his arms).
  • If you want to make a page about a character you made up, please create it at User:Blob55/(name), not merely (name). Bulbapedia's main namespace is reserved for actual, official Pokémon, items, characters, and locations. Also, please try to make sure that subpages are not categorized by templates used within.
  • A list of the admins that you can contact in case of a problem, can be found here.

Thank you, and have a good time editing here! --ニョロトノ666 20:51, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

When you added the Gen V info, you also removed everything else. I fixed it, just don't do it again. MaverickNate 22:03, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

Colo/XD Trainer data

I have what should be accurate Trainer/Pokemon team data for Colosseum and XD.

All you should have to do is figure out who's in those formats (the Trainers) and create the "party" container part, and then you can search that Trainers name and copy/paste the rest (the Pokemon data) from those files. Should be a lot quicker, and more accurate. Tiddlywinks (talk) 18:55, 31 January 2016 (UTC)

I can't find some of the trainers, like Eargle.Blob55 (talk) 08:51, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
OK, found it, but some of the formatting is messed up.Blob55 (talk) 09:04, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
Could you be more specific? Was it only some data you found formatting errors in, and if so can you give an example? I tested Eargle's team and it looked fine to me. Tiddlywinks (talk) 13:12, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
I mean when I copy the data over, the format is all weird and I don't know how to make it look normal.Blob55 (talk) 13:17, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
If you're just copying from that file and previewing, that's not enough. I guess I was a bit wrong when I suggested above all you had to do was copy/paste the Pokemon data.
That Pokemon data is only the "Pokemon" templates. Those are meant to fit into the proper places for the encompassing table structure; that is, there's no "|" before any of those templates and no "Party/Div" anywhere. (Part of the reason I didn't pre-format any of that structure is because I'm never certain what the order is. Better if you just copy the correct "Pokemon" template into its correct place, wherever that is.)
As a simple example, let's imagine that for Cryal you just had this:

You need to replace just each of those names with the same Pokemon's template code from the text file. You still need those "|"s before each name and you still need "Party/Div" and "Party/Footer" (which aren't in the text file). Tiddlywinks (talk) 14:24, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
I don't know all of the image names for the trainer classes. Blob55 (talk) 06:40, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
Then do this: leave the image blank (or random) first, just making sure you fill in the correct Trainer class, and then preview that. Click on the Trainer's Trainer class link in the preview (maybe open it in a new tab or window), scroll down to the Appearance section on the page, then just find the right image for Colosseum (or XD) and copy that filename into the template. Tiddlywinks (talk) 13:17, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
OK, it will probably be a while though. Also, I'm thinking of finishing off the Battle Mode Colosseum Trainers before that.Blob55 (talk) 16:10, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, I kind of meant to give you those links so you wouldn't have to do too much work for the Battle Mode Trainers. =P If you want to do any other Trainers anywhere, that's great! (But you don't have to either.) =) Tiddlywinks (talk) 16:22, 2 February 2016 (UTC)

Ash's Lycanroc

Just curious, where did you get the information that Yūji Ueda voices Ash's Lycanroc?--BigDocFan (talk) 08:55, 26 August 2017 (UTC)

I saw on Twitter, several Japanese people kept on saying Ueda Yuuji voices Ash's Lycanroc over and over again. - unsigned comment from Blob55 (talkcontribs)
I hope you can understand why this isn't a reliable source. If those people aren't from the company that makes the anime or otherwise officially affiliated with it, there is no way to tell whether they know for a fact or are speculating. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 21:06, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
