By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

"Fix your image uploading thing"?

You mentioned difficulty with image uploading in an edit summary recently. Might I ask what difficulty you are having? --Felthry (talk) 04:16, 21 February 2017 (UTC)

Oh shit, I just saw this now. I'm not on here often, so pardon the late response.
I can't upload an image because I'm not autoconfirmed on the Archives thing. In my opinion, it's a huge pain in the ass, because other wikis have the thing right there. Aidan the Aura Master 21:37, 5 March 2017 (UTC)
The reason Bulbagarden Archives exists is for the same reason Wikimedia Commons exists: to have a central location for putting images that can be used across several sites, like Bulbapedia and Bulbanews and Bulbahandbook. Honestly, it's not that much of a problem; the autoconfirmation process just involves making a few edits (the exact number is secret) and having an account for a certain (again, secret) length of time--so go look on the archives to see what is needed and make a few edits. Fix some image descriptions; I think the images of Pokémon cards tend to need changing frequently as cards become part of new sets or something (I really don't know how that works). You'll be able to upload before you know it. --Felthry (talk) 03:57, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
...Why bother keeping it secret? In my opinion, it should be known so that people don't annoy the higher-ups with endless "Why can't I do _____?" posts. Aidan the Aura Master 22:10, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
It's kept a secret so users don't just make the required number of edits and abandon the mainspace to only edit their userspace.--ForceFire 04:29, 20 March 2017 (UTC)

Magneton Error

Hey I would love to see a photo of the magneton error you have. I haven't been able to find an example of it anywhere TheFierceStorm (talk) 02:04, 15 August 2019 (UTC)

(You know, I really should be on here more often.)
I'm moved into my college dorm actually, and I neglected to bring my cards with me, but I can get one probably by the end of the week. If not, it'll be the next time I go home. Aidan the Aura Master 04:33, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
Will this do? Aidan the Aura Master 23:21, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
Sorry, I didn't realize you posted the photo on the 20th. Unfortunately this card looks fake, the biggest tell being the fonts are off. Look at the spacing of the energy symbols next to Magnetic Release and the + after the 40. The illustrator name font is off as well, also every energy symbol are weirdly enlarged. The card stock should feel different, early fakes you could hold up to a light and see through the card, but I don't think that is as evident in later fakes. TheFierceStorm (talk) 13:46, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
Hmm. You may be onto something. The type symbols are also different too. Aidan the Aura Master 04:19, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
