The Old Gold Power Plant Debut event was held between October 7 and October 21, 2024. The event was exclusive to Greengrass Isle in the first week, with the limited-time missions available in all areas. Alongside the introduction of Old Gold Power Plant, four Pokémon families were introduced, the Aron, Shinx, Drifloon and Grubbin lines, as well as the new ingredient Rousing Coffee and five new recipes.

On October 11, 2024, Drifloon and Drifblim were announced and released on the same day, bringing with them six new sleep styles.

New Sleep Styles

In addition to the newly-introduced Pokémon, Ditto also had a new sleep style released for it.

Increased encounter chance

During this event, Aron, Shinx and Grubbin were temporarily added to the pool of Pokémon that could be encountered at Greengrass Isles. After the event, their Incenses no longer worked on this island. They were available in their ★, ★★ and ★★★★ sleep styles. Drifloon also had an increased encounter rate after it was released, however it was a permanent addition to Greengrass Isles. The spawn increases were applied to both Greengrass Isle and Old Gold Power Plant.

Bundles

The Old Gold Power Plant bundles were available from October 7 to October 22, 2024. These bundles also marked the first time that Shinx, Aron and Grubbin Candy and Incense were available to players. The Pokémon Befriending Bundle (Drifloon) Vol. 1 bundles were available starting from the second week and available between October 14 to October 22, 2024.
