Screamypuff debuted in Total-lie Awesome Pokémon in Area Zero?!. While following Roy, Coral stepped on Scream Tail's tail causing it to lash out and scream. After her Glalie's failed attempt of using Self-Destruct, Coral annoyingly caught Screamypuff to make it stop screaming.
In The Core Awakens, Coral betrayed Spinel and Terastallized Screamypuff to help the Terastallized Pokemon in helping to deal with the Laquium Core, after Penny's Sylveon got defeated. In the next episode, Screamypuff helped fight the Laquium Core then joined the Rising Volt Tacklers and their allies Pokémon in helping Pagogo erase it for good.
Personality and characteristics
True to Screamypuff's species, its shown to scream lot, which annoys Coral. Its also temperamental, brash, and prone to tantrums, similar to Coral herself, as it doesn't like to be taunted and laughed at. However, Screamypuff is unwaveringly loyal and desperate to prove its worth to Coral and Glalie upon being awed by their bravery, and becoming upset when its efforts were undermined by Coral. Screamypuff picked up Coral's enjoyment of wanting to get limited specials on sweet, as seen in Tinkatuff's Hammer Wasn't Made in a Year!. It has also formed a close bond with Coral, even resisting the Laquium mist in Stellar Finale.
