History

Elekid and Orla

Elekid debuted in For Sure! 'Cause Sprigatito's with Me!, helping reboot the Brave Olivine's systems with its electricity. In subsequent appearances, Elekid is often seen on Orla's arms during the Rising Volt Tacklers's get-togethers and meetings.

In Orla and the Poké Ball Smith, Elekid accompanied Orla to Karna's workshop. It later helped Orla repair Khana's machinery when it started to malfunction, and watched as Metagross battled against a wild Galarian Weezing.

In Orla, Grounded, Elekid, along with Metagross, was shown to have stayed with Orla at Karna's workshop in the year since the Rising Volt Tacklers disbanded, although both it and Metagross kept worrying for Orla's newfound withdrawn demeanor. After Liko, Roy, Dot, and Ult arrived to request the Brave Olivine, Elekid and Metagross tried to encourage to confront her fears and rejoin the Rising Volt Tacklers.

In We Are the Rising Volt Tacklers!, Elekid gave Orla's wrench to its Trainer, which motivated her to begin repairs on the Brave Olivine. Later, Elekid helped Orla restore the Brave Olivine's power with its electricity.

Personality and characteristics

Elekid and Metagross

Elekid is often used by Orla to help her with repairs on the Brave Olivine, such as using its electricity to reboot the airships's systems. It also helps Orla when she's overwhelmed, such as handing her tools that she might need for her repairs. It also shares its Trainer's diligent and hard-working personality, often worrying about the airship's condition just as much as Orla does.

Elekid also seems to have a very good relationship with its teammate Metagross, as they both help Orla with repairs around the Brave Olivine. When not working, Elekid and Metagross often spend time playing together, as seen in Tinkatink's Ideal Hammer. It also gets along with Captain Pikachu, as seen in The Treasure of Eternity when Elekid offered it a plate full of berries, and they promptly sat down to eat together. During the year that Orla spent with Karna at her workshop, Elekid also became good friends with the latter's Magby, and the two happily shared a farewell when Orla rejoined the Rising Volt Tacklers in We Are the Rising Volt Tacklers!.
