Investigating the Rising Volt Tacklers
- Main article: HZ004
Shortly after the battles with Friede, Amethio and the other Explorers contacted Hamber to report the first information about the progress of the mission. Despite not having any significant progress, Hamber informed Amethio to be cautious with the way he dealt with the Rising Volt Tacklers and more precisely with Friede.
After ending the conversation with Hamber, Amethio replied to Conia that his main objective from now on will be to find answers about the mission he was assigned.
Battle at Roy's hometown
The night after Roy's encounter with Fuecoco, Roy broke into the Rising Volt Tacklers' ship to meet with Fuecoco again. In the morning, Liko and Friede decided to take Roy back to their house, where they met Roy's grandfather, who already knew Friede from other times. While Friede and Liko had lunch with the islanders, the Explorers made a heavy attack on the Rising Volt Tacklers' ship. This made Friede try to figure out what was going on.

Aftermath
After the Explorers retreated, Orla revealed that the Brave Asagi was finally repaired and Ludlow and Quaxly found the tracker trapped in the ship. Back at Roy's house, Roy's grandfather told what he knew about the mysterious Poke Ball, but he didn't know much. After receiving information that Sprigatito and Fuecoco were healed after the battle, Liko and Roy returned to the ship. Charizard then gave Fuecoco a Poke Ball, which upon giving to Roy, became his first Pokémon. Roy's grandmother then gave Roy a backpack of supplies and her blessing for her grandson to begin his journey.
Explorers
In an unknown place, Amethio and a group of other mysterious people have gathered for a meeting with Gibeon, the head of the Explorers. Gibeon questioned Amethio's actions and after being provoked by Spinel, Amethio was relieved of his current mission, with Spinel taking his place. After everyone left the room, Hamber and Gibeon discussed how the Explorers' plans were finally closer to completion. Disgusted, Amethio decided that his next goal is to find out about the mysterious Rayquaza that emerged from Roy's Poké Ball.
Liko and Roy
With everything ready to go, Roy was introduced to the Rising Volt Tacklers, excited about the journey that was about to begin, Roy handed Friede the flag he found in the sea.
From afar, Roy saw the inhabitants of his island and his grandfather among them, with a look of hope, his grandfather wished Roy a good trip. Liko and Roy then discussed their respective futures and Liko decided that she wants to know more about Rayquaza, her pendant and the Legendary Trainer.
Brave Asagi continued its journey to Paldea across the horizon...
