Staryu blinking
What's happening when Staryu (or evo) blinks? I see it happening quite often when battling one... ht14 03:50, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
- *Offers late response* That's the effect of their ability, Illuminate. If they're damaged, they'll blink, which makes a wild Pokémon appear somewhere else on the floor.--Dark ICE (User:Cold)(page, talk) 20:48, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
MD-exclusive columns
Can anyone think of a reason that the "Mystery Dungeon Exclusive" columns are necessary/useful? (I'm not really sure at the moment, but I'm leaning against them.) Tiddlywinks (talk) 17:39, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
- I see no reason to keep them, personally. VioletPumpkin (talk) 16:24, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
Leg Hold
The current article is missing the status conditions Shadow Hold and Sticky Hold ailments (both unfortunately the names of other Pokémon-related things), which can be seen on the page exclusive item. Checking on my game MD Time, I noticed that Mean Look which previously caused a Leg Hold status, now causes a Shadow Hold status. I'm wondering whether Sticky Hold is due to Spider Web, and it'll also be useful to know what Block causes. If anyone can help, that'll be much appreciated! I do have MD Time but unfortunately don't have the right Pokémon to check these (and no time to level them up to learn these moves). --Wowy(토크) 11:06, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
"For a list of moves affected by Muzzled status, see the individual move articles."
WTF? That's ridiculous. How am I supposed to see the individual move articles if it doesn't tell me which moves to look at? Can we please add these in somehow? ¿¡Unowninator?! (talk) 02:52, 13 April 2018 (UTC)
Move to "Status condition (Mystery Dungeon)"
This would be named after the article Status condition. It would also be in line with:
- Key (Mystery Dungeon)
- Food (Mystery Dungeon)
- Partner Pokémon (Mystery Dungeon)
- Rank (Mystery Dungeon)
- Scarf (Mystery Dungeon)
- Team Skull (Mystery Dungeon)
- Pokémon world (Mystery Dungeon)
- Jungle (Mystery Dungeon)
- Berry Forest (Mystery Dungeon)
- etc.

mobile duration
I used a mobile orb on one of my party members and the status seemed to persist even throughout further floors in the dungeon. I was playing Red Rescue Team on emulator, so I'm not 100% sure of the accuracy of this behavior, but if it can be confirmed to be accurate, should the duration value for the Mobile status be changed to "Until exiting the dungeon"? - unsigned comment from Slobatro (talk • contribs)
ooops, it turns out my pokemon was holding a mobile scarf the whole time. what an absolute facepalmer. - unsigned comment from Slobatro (talk • contribs)
Sped up attacks
- You guys are missing a status condition. Pokémon under the effects of Swift Swim, (and according to the Spanish wiki, Chlorophyll, possibly others.) will have double speed, double attack status. In a Makyuhita dojo with Kyogre and Gorebyss, they're moving around at mach speed. Gorebyss used Water Gun twice in one turn and only used 1 PP. When I click on the status condition, I get "Double Speed (Text box) The Pokémon is sped up. (break) Its attack frequency has been boosted. Sped up attacks, れんぞくこうげき, Ataque rápido (Spanish) HaxAras (talk) 08:16, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
- After further research, sped up attacks is the short description. The condition is called "Doubled Attack" and "Sped up" is called "Double speed".HaxAras (talk) 19:44, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
