Similar enough?
I personally think this item is similar enough to the previously introduced Secret Medicine that it doesn't need to be its own article. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 08:36, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
- I agree. (Worth noting that it apparently has different index numbers, though.)
- And even if it was considered different, the "Hisui" qualifier is incredibly unintuive/misleading, since in-game the medicine's clearly from Johto, not Hisui. Nescientist (talk) 18:40, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
- It has a different index number than the previous iterations of the item, meaning its hard programmed in the game as two different distinct items. I think on that basis it should be considered a different item. 4iamking (talk) 12:21, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
- I wouldn't rely on the index number as too much proof of them intended to be distinct items. While it's generally a good indicator, sometimes it is used in strange ways. For example, the S.S. Ticket used the same index number for all 3 ships in Generation III and IV, but in ORAS it was given a new index number.
- Given that the item is clearly in-universe supposed to be the same medicine, I think it makes the most sense to merge the pages. --SnorlaxMonster 12:35, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
