Split discussion

It was suggested by Trainersurrel0409 on July 31, 2024 that this article be split into "Miraidon (game)" and "Violet's Miraidon", in order to give the manga Pokémon its own page. Please discuss below. Landfish7 19:12, 3 August 2024 (UTC)

Pages like Arceus (game) and Arceus (Adventures) are separated and pages named “Character (game)” is specifically for the character in the games rather than the manga or the anime. It should be split up in my opinion. Handium (talk) 21:48, 14 August 2024 (UTC)

Yes, despite this Miraidon being clearly based on the one from the game, i still think it should have its own page, mostly because its trainer is Violet, technically different from the player character. Trainersurrel0409 (talk) 23:34, 13 March 2026 (UTC)

Species name trivia goes on the Pokémon's species page, and Miraidon's species page in fact already has this on it (and has for years); there's no need to duplicate it here. (Though tbh I think it's more likely that only the "ride on" part of it is actually intended, esp since that's what's shared with Koraidon, but that'd be a discussion for said species page(s) rather than this one...)
