i think we need citation for how we know miettes slurpuffs a girl Robloxninjawarrior (talk) 21:45, 25 December 2025 (UTC)

I'm not 100% sure but given that Slurpuff was dancing with Ash's Pikachu (confirmed male) in XY105 where Pokemon danced with partners of the opposite gender, this was likely where Slurpuff's gender was confirmed.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 21:47, 25 December 2025 (UTC)

This determination is probably best explained by this talk page discussion. It's sort of a special case, but there appears to be enough evidence from the original Japanese and the general set-up of the scene to support the gender confirmations from that episode.
