Sudowoodo's gender

Sudowoodo is a guy Unsigned comment by Livinlarge18

Do you have any evidence to back up that claim? --FabuVinny T-C-S 15:54, 17 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Brock's Sudowoodo has a larger Y on top his head so yeah he is a guy - unsigned comment from Livinlarge18 (talkcontribs)

Larger compared to what other Sudowoodo? --PAK Man Talk 03:38, 21 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well there is more evidence to that. If they wanted Sudowoodo to be a girl, they would have given it a smaller Y when Bonsly evolved.

Why would a female Sudowoodo act like a soldier I mean only a male Sudowoodo would do that Livinlarge18 03:03, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Oh so there's no such thing as a female soldier. Is that what your trying to say? And how would you know what male and female Sudowoodo act like? --ケンジガール 04:49, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

brock did call him he in one episode pokemonboy 3000 said this - unsigned comment from Pokemonboy3000 (talkcontribs)

Moves

I just re-watched Bonsly debut episode, and it didn't used Faint Attack, Take Down and Headbutt. The only move it used was Fake Tears. I suggest eliming it from the Moves Used section. --Criққѳ~* 18:59, 28 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

DPS02

It says in the trivia section that Sudowoodo was confirmed male in DPS02. But, Sudowoodo has gender differences, so wouldn't we already have known it was male from the moment it evolved on? EvilKirikizan 01:31, 20 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yes, but Sudowoodo, as a Bonsly, was introduced before Generation IV, in the Advanced Generation series. Now if Bonsly was caught in Sinnoh, then it would be confirmed as soon as it evolved into a Sudowoodo. :--SuperAipom7 (Questions?) 01:34, 20 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
If I recall correctly, the rule is we'll use gender differences pertaining to older Gen Pokemon (like Pikachu and Sudowoodo for example) only if the other has been seen. If we haven't seen a female Sudowoodo, then we can't really rely on its appearance alone. ^^; Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 01:37, 20 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Especially since size difference gender differences are rather subjective unless we can compare two of them animated in the same way (i.e. move vs episode comparisons are a no-go). Werdnae (talk) 01:56, 20 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Rock Head?

Pardon me, I don't really know, but when was this confirmed as Sudowoodo's ability? I thought his gender was the only thing confirmed in DPS02. :--SuperAipom7 (Wanna chat?) 21:36, 12 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Daisuke Sakaguchi

Can't help but notice that Daisuke Sakaguchi wasn't credited as voicing Sudowoodo in SM103, yet it spoke. Does this suggest that Daisuke Sakaguchi doesn't voice Sudowoodo any more--BigDocFan (talk) 10:56, 6 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Faint Attack

I was watching the sub version (obviously) and Brock ordered Sudowoodo to use Fake Out rather than Faint Attack. Was it a translation error or what? HygorBH (talk) 04:10, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yes, it was a translation errors. Sub are never (NEVER because apparently saying it once isn't enough, this still keeps happens even when repeated, it especially annoys me when it's experienced users relying on subs... NEVER with a capital N-E-V-E-R, NEVER) reliable for THIS. EXACT. REASON.--ForceFire 04:45, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
