Shy Guy?

Should we add the information that his mask resembles a Shy Guy from the Mario series? He is a very shy guy after all. DrBrainIsAwesome (talk) 06:28, 12 February 2025 (UTC)

I'd say that something like "Allister resembles Shy Guy from Super Mario series" isn't a very good trivia to be put on a site like Bulbapedia, I don't know how to explain, maybe something like "opinions like this would make the site look less professional". It should only be put here if we have clear evidence that he is based on Shy Guy (like an official interview), which we don't have right now. --QZKurante (talk) 07:58, 12 February 2025 (UTC)

Someone already added this exact trivia a week ago and I immediately removed it. Like I said back then, many characters in fiction wear white masks like that. So there’s little reason to assume it’s a Mario reference. Second, Shy Guys are not called Shy Guys in Japan nor do their Japanese names reference being shy in any fashion, so Allister having a shy personality is more than likely just a coincidence.
