Being raised by [[Princess Salvia]], Togekiss was brought up much like she was, always being poised and graceful above all else. She would take a bow whenever she was complimented, or contrarily, to express her own gratitude. Initially, Dawn and Togekiss had trouble adapting to each other's battling styles, as Dawn believed they couldn't fight effectively, as Togekiss would try to make her attacks as graceful as possible before launching them, such as dancing around in the sky and twirling to show off her [[appeal]], which would cause their opponents to gain more than enough time to either recover or defend themselves.
