I was starting to think that Absol may have drawn inspiration from colorpoint cats, but now I'm under the impression that it's a combination of a {{wp|Scottish_Blackface|Blackface Mountain Ram}} and a white lion. The Bai Ze/Hakutaku's body is somewhat ram-like and often combines lion-like features and the blackface ram would explain Absol's dark face and curved horn(s). | |||
