Shadowy Threats is the fifth main expansion of cards from the Asian Mega Evolution Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, released exclusively in Thailand and Indonesia. The set is primarily based on the video game Pokémon Legends: Z-A, including its Mega Dimension DLC.

Information

Shadowy Threats, known in Thai as เงามืดคุกคาม and in Indonesian as Ancaman Bayangan, is the fifth main expansion of cards for the Asian Mega Evolution Series of the TCG, exclusively released in Thailand and Indonesia. It contains cards from the Japanese Ninja Spinner and Abyss Eye expansions, including various Mega Evolution Pokémon ex and Trainer cards themed after the video game Pokémon Legends: Z-A and its Mega Dimension DLC. The central Pokémon in the expansion are Mega Greninja ex and Mega Darkrai ex. Each booster pack of Shadowy Threats contains 5 cards.

Shadowy Threats releases in Thailand on June 19, 2026, and in Indonesia on June 26, 2026. Besides being sold in individual boosters and boxes of 30 packs, Shadowy Threats is also available in 2-pack blisters known as "Special Set" (Indonesian: Set Spesial; Thai: สเปเชียลเซ็ต).

For the first time in Thailand, Shadowy Threats is also released in the form of the "10-Pack Set Plus" product (Thai: ชุด 10 ซอง PLUS), which is identical to the Indonesian 10-Pack Set Plus (Indonesian: Set 10 Pak PLUS) product and adapts the Taiwan and Hong Kong product of the same name. The Shadowy Threats 10-Pack Set Plus released in both Thailand and Indonesia contains 10 booster packs, a cardboard deck case, and a promo card pack. The promo card pack contains one random selection of three sets of Holofoil M-P Promotional Pokémon cards with the Shadowy Threats logo on the artwork, plus 5 Basic Energy cards matching the Pokémon's types.
