Remoat Stadium

Remoat Stadium (Japanese: レモータスタジアム Remota Stadium) is a stadium in Pokémon UNITE. It is a floating landmass with wooded and beach areas.
It is broadly similar to Mer Stadium, with their main differences being that Remoat is larger and the shape of the Central Area in Remoat is different. Like all stadiums, Remoat Stadium was built over an Aeos energy spot.
Remoat Stadium used to be the primary Battle Map of Pokémon UNITE. It can be accessed immediately upon completing the tutorial (with other maps being locked until a higher Trainer level is acquired). A normal battle in Remoat Stadium is a 5 vs 5 match. Remoat Stadium also hosts First to 500 battles, special 5 vs 5 matches in which the objective is to reach 500 points first.
Welcome to the Stadium!, a chapter of Pokémon UNITE Manga - Come On Over to Aeos Island!, implies that Aeos Emporium and Zirco Trading are located in exterior portions of the landmass.
History
Remoat Stadium was the original stage in Ranked Match and Casual Battle. In September 2022, Remoat Stadium was replaced by Theia Sky Ruins in Ranked Match. However, it can still be played in Casual Battle.
Layout
- Top Path: The top path is the recommended path for most Attackers and Defenders.
- Central Area: The central area is used to prioritize a Pokémon leveling up and evolving quickly. Generally, Speedsters are chosen for the central area.
- Bottom Path: The bottom path is the recommended path for most All-Rounders and Supporters.
Salac Berries spawn in the center of the map. Picking one up will temporarily increase a Pokémon's movement speed.
Goal zones
Each side starts with five goal zones. Four of them can be broken by scoring enough points into them. The central goal zone, however, is virtually indestructible.
- First pair of goal zones : 80 points
- Second pair of goal zones: 100 points
- Central goal zone: Indestructible
Sitrus Berries will spawn at the front goal zones until 5:00, restoring a Pokémon's HP by 1500 when picked up.
Pokémon
These Pokémon can be found scattered around the battlefield. Each has a small number above it, symbolising the amount of Aeos Energy that coan be taken after its defeat. During the final stretch, some pokémon evolve, increasing its HP, attack and amount of Aeos Energy it has. Some pokémon provide buffs, and some, upon being defeated, provide buffs and benefits that may change the tide of the battle.

Snow and Ice
Remoat Stadium has a variant that usually temporarily replaces the original towards the beginning of December until Mid-January.

The appearance has been altered to fit the winter season, and Ice-type Pokémon have replaced the majority of the original's Wild Pokémon.
The layout is exactly the same, from the goal zones to the positions of the wild pokémon.
Geography
The appearance of the stadium has changed. The tall grass has turned dark green with flecks of snow at the top. The fountains and pools have frozen into ice and the various paths have snow at the sides. The boss pit, normally having a simple Boss symbol, now has turned into the shape of an ice-blue hexagon with the boss symbol of the same colour engraved in the centre. All of the walls are covered in snow, and are adorned with fairy lights. Vannilite statues appear just below the fountains on the bottom path. Looking at the image, there are icebergs in the sea surrounding the stadium. Evergreen trees are also scattered around the stadium.

In animation
In the "Pokémon UNITE Opening Cinematic", a Unite Battle took place on Remoat Stadium. The purple team consisted of Absol, Garchomp, Cinderace, Slowbro and Greninja, and the orange team consisted of Talonflame, Mr. Mime, Pikachu, Snorlax and Lucario. Lucario successfully scored a goal, while Pikachu was last seen attempting to block the Aeos energy Cinderace launched at the center goal zone of the orange team. This last goal attempt occurred during the final ten second of the match, and may have decided who won.
In the manga
In Pokémon UNITE Manga - Come On Over to Aeos Island!, Remoat Stadium is the setting of the third chapter, Welcome to the Stadium!. In it, a female trainer welcomed her father to Aeos Island, and together they explored Remoat's exterior. The two visited Zirco Trading and Aeos Emporium, making a number of purchases. The chapter concluded with the girl meeting up with her teammates.
Remoat Stadium also makes a minor appearance in the fourth chapter, In Search of a Aeos Energy Spot. It appears on a map of Aeos Island, in reference to how all stadiums are built on top of Aeos energy spots.
