Regidrago VSTAR is the name of the deck used by Evan Pavelski, the Senior Division champion at the 2024 Pokémon World Championships. It is one of the 2024 World Championship Decks released on May 16, 2025. Each deck comes with a two-sided playmat/poster, an event booklet, a Pokémon Trading Card Game Live code card, and a special Worlds 2024 deck box, pin, and coin. The cards included in the deck are not the exact prints used by Pavelski, but are the most recent, lowest-rarity print with any Holofoil removed. The cards have a unique card back and Pavelski's signature, and in place of the set symbol and rarity, they have a note stating, "This card cannot be used in official tournaments". The signature card displayed in the packaging (Regidrago VSTAR) has a special gold version of Evan's signature, while the rest of the deck has a silver signature.

Description

Packaging

Regidrago VSTAR was the single most popular deck at the 2024 World Championships, and Evan Pavelski took it all the way to the top. The star Pokémon's Apex Dragon attack can channel the attacks of any Dragon type in your discard pile. Imagine the possibilities! You can unleash a shower of damage counters with Dragapult ex. You can put up a nice big shield with Hisuian Goodra VSTAR. You can do massive damage with Giratina VSTAR... or you can claim a whole bunch of Prize cards at once with Kyurem's Trifrost!

Booklet

Evan was the only player in any age division who managed to steer the extremely dominant Regidrago VSTAR deck to victory in the Top 4—"There's no deck that fully counters it," he said before the first match—and he ended up winning the whole thing! His pick for most interesting card in the format is Kyurem, which helped him take Game 1 of the finals in a spectacular three-KO turn. Evan has been climbing the ranks for a while now—he's made Top 32 or better at every Worlds since 2018, and this time he came out on top!
