Mewtwo (Japanese: ミュウツー Mewtwo) is a Grade 5 Pokémon Frienda Pick. It is part of the first Best Tag set.

Merchandise
The illustration on this Frienda Pick was used on a large Frienda Pick-shaped uchiwa (fan) that was given away at several Pokémon Frienda events. It was first available at Frienda Festival in ÆON Mall venues, which gave people the chance to play free trial sessions of Battle and Catch! mode and Catch now! mode. Festivals were present at:
- ÆON Mall Kashihara, Kashihara on July 19 and 20, 2025
- ÆON Mall Musashimurayama, Tokyo on July 26 and 27, 2025
- ÆON Mall Kumamoto, Kumamoto on August 2 and 3, 2025
- ÆON Mall Takasaki, Takasaki on August 16 and 17, 2025
Visitors could also watch performances by the Frienda Navigators, scan a QR code that would unlock a digital Quaquaval Support Pokémon Ticket in Frienda Circle, and choose to receive a fan featuring either Mewtwo or Lucario for as long as stocks lasted. Children of junior high school age and below could additionally claim a free gift set while stocks lasted, which comprised a promotional Charizard Frienda Pick, a Trial Trainer Pick, and a Start Guide Book. Gift sets were limited to one per person.[1]
The fans were available again at venues hosting the Coro Tour 2025. Visitors at each event could play free trial sessions of Battle and Catch! mode and Catch now! mode, watch performances by the Frienda Navigators, receive one copy of a Mewtwo or a Lucario fan, receive a set of PokéDoko & Frienda Original Stickers, receive a copy of a promotional Tinkaton Frienda Pick, and scan a QR code that would unlock a digital Skeledirge Support Pokémon Ticket in Frienda Circle. All items were distributed while stocks lasted and were limited to one per person. Participating Coro Tour 2025 venues included:

- Ario Sapporo, Sapporo on July 27, 2025
- ÆON Mall Nagoya Chaya, Nagoya on August 3, 2025
- ÆON Mall Mito Uchihara, Mito on August 11, 2025

Fans were later available as part of the Ciao Summer Festival 2025, which was held at the Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama on August 9 and 10, 2025. Visitors at the Pokémon Corner at the venue could try free trial sessions of Battle and Catch! mode and Catch now! mode on Pokémon Frienda machines running Best Tag set 1, watch performances by the Frienda Navigators and Frien-dan, receive a free Mewtwo or Lucario fan, scan a QR code that would unlock a digital Meowscarada Support Pokémon Ticket in Frienda Circle, and receive a free gift set that consisted of a promotional Charizard Frienda Pick, a Trial Trainer Pick, and a Start Guide Book. The gift set was limited to children of junior high school age and below, while the fans could be obtained by people of all ages. There was also a special appearance on August 10 by comedian Yasuko and the Oha Kids from Oha Suta.[3]
The fans were available once more at the CoroCoro Spirit Festival in Tokyo Toy Show 2025, which was held at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, Tokyo on August 30 and 31, 2025. People visiting the Pokémon booth could watch performances by the Frienda Navigators and Frien-dan, receive a free Mewtwo or Lucario fan, scan a QR code that would unlock a digital Meowscarada Support Pokémon Ticket in Frienda Circle, and receive one of six physical Support Pokémon Tickets at random. Children of junior high school age and below could try free trial sessions of Battle and Catch! mode on Pokémon Frienda machines and also take on a special Trainer Battle opponent in the Challenge the Captain! Celebi Battle! All participants received a free Celebi promotional Frienda Pick. There were also special appearances on each day. August 30 featured Jumbo Takao and Naoto Ikeda, members of the comedy duo Rainbow, who were frequent performers on Oha Suta. August 31 featured Abareru-kun and Hikaru Takahashi from Where Are We Going With Pokémon!?[4]
Fans were also distributed at the 2025 Amusement Expo, which was held at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center on November 15, 2025. People visiting the Marvelous booth could receive a copy of a promotional Keldeo Frienda Pick, watch performances by the Frienda Navigators, complete a questionnaire to receive a Mewtwo or Lucario fan, and engage in activities at the Exciting Experience Corner. The Exciting Experience Corner had interactive props inspired by the gameplay of Pokémon Frenda. People who completed a questionnaire after the experience received a special sticker sheet featuring images Frienda Picks from the second Best Tag set. Children of junior high school age and below could also play free trial sessions of Battle and Catch! mode running Best Tag set 1.[5][6]
