This Frienda Pick was first given away at participating locations with a Pokémon Frienda machine from September 15, 2024 as part of a promotion for the variety show Where Are We Going With Pokémon!? The campaign ran for as long as stocks lasted and was only open to children of junior high school age and below.

It was available again at venues hosting the Coro Tour 2025. Visitors at each event could play free trial sessions of Battle and Catch! mode and Catch now! mode, watch performances by the Frienda Navigators, receive one copy of a Frienda Pick-shaped uchiwa (fan) featuring either a Mewtwo or a Lucario design, receive a set of PokéDoko & Frienda Original Stickers, receive a copy of this Frienda Pick, and scan a QR code that would unlock a digital Skeledirge Support Pokémon Ticket in Frienda Circle. All items were distributed while stocks lasted and were limited to one per person. Participating Coro Tour 2025 venues included:

Trivia

The Frienda Pick obverse features the Where Are We Going With Pokémon!? logo.

Origin

Gigaton Hammer is a move that Tinkaton can learn in the games. An image of the three Where Are We Going With Pokémon!? presenters would appear in-game when Tinkaton was selected to attack for the first time.
