The Arceus print received an erratum to prevent the player from drawing if a Knocked Out Pokémon ends up somewhere other than the discard pile (such as the Lost Zone) by adding the text "and put into your discard pile" before the comma. This erratum does not apply for the Sword & Shield print of Lucky Egg, which has the same text as the original pre-erratum Arceus print.[1]
For interactions with Lucky Egg and cards that return to the player's hand:
If Gengar with the "Infinite Shadow" Ability and Lucky Egg attached is Knocked Out by damage from an attack from the opponent's Pokémon, the effect of Lucky Egg is resolved first, and the player draws cards from their deck before returning the Gengar into their hand.[2]
If a Pokémon has both Lucky Egg and Recycle Energy attached to it, and it is Knocked Out by damage from an attack from the opponent's Pokémon, the effect of Lucky Egg is resolved first before Recycle Energy is returned into the player's hand.[2]
