Jynx (Japanese: ルージュラ Rougela) is a Psychic-type Basic Pokémon card. It was first released as part of Expansion Sheet 2.

Release information
In Japan, this card was first available as a glossy card on sheet eight of Expansion Sheet 2 with artwork by Kagemaru Himeno. It was reprinted as a non-glossy card in the Red Deck of the Quick Starter Gift Set. It was reprinted again as an Unnumbered Promotional card with different artwork by the same artist and was included with the third volume of the manga series, How I Became a Pokémon Card released on January 22, 2000. This print has a color graphic of an open book with a trading card in place of an expansion symbol.

The Japanese Unnumbered Promotional print is commonly known as Singing Jynx, in reference to the character illustration, and Natta Wake Jynx, in reference to the publication in which it was distributed. The text on the bottom of this print's card border reads: "Pokémon Card Books "How I Became a Pokémon Card" bonus card".
Origin
Ice Punch is a move in the Pokémon games that Jynx can learn. This card's Expansion Sheet 2 print's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Blue. The Unnumbered Promotional print's entry comes from Pokémon Gold.
