Jiro Sasumo (Japanese: さすも次郎(じろう) Sasumo Jirō) is an illustrator who has contributed artwork to the Pokémon Trading Card Game since winning the 2nd Pokémon Card Game Illustration Grand Prix. Sasumo's submitted illustration would be used as the art for their first card, Charizard, one of the S-P Promotional cards. Beginning with Vaporeon from Brilliant Stars, Sasumo has been illustrating cards on a regular basis.

Sasumo attended art school and has been posting illustrations online since they were young, but they did not begin illustrating in a professional capacity until after winning the 2nd Pokémon Card Game Illustration Grand Prix. They use a pen tablet and Photoshop to produce artwork. Sasumo's favorite generation is Generation II, and their favorite Pokémon is Charizard.[1]
