Has a chance (X%) of lowering one of the target's following stats by one stat rank at random when a move, sync move, or max move used by the user's Pokémon targeting that opponent is successful: Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, Speed, accuracy, or evasiveness.

Lowers one of the target's following stats by one stat rank at random when a move, sync move, or max move used by the user's Pokémon targeting that opponent is successful: Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, Speed, accuracy, or evasiveness.
Hard Knocks (Japanese: 相手にＰ技Ｂ技ＢＤ技後能力↓Stat Reduction After Using Pokémon Move, Buddy Move, or Buddy Daimax Move On Opponent) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
When the sync pair's Pokémon successfully uses a move, sync move, or max move, it has a chance of lowering one of the target's stats (Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, Speed, accuracy, or evasiveness) by one stat rank. The skill can range from Hard Knocks 1 to Hard Knocks 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of activation. Hard Knocks 9 will always lower one of the target's stats. Currently, only Hard Knocks 9 is available on scoutable sync pairs. The skill applies to the Pokémon's moves, including status moves and buddy moves.
