Release information

This tag was available as part of a giveaway campaign, during which tags depicting Pokémon belonging to Liko and Roy from Pokémon Horizons: The Series were available. Starting July 29, 2023, visitors of participating stores with a Pokémon Mezastar machine that said "please give me a Mezastar tag!" to staff were given a copy of this tag while stocks lasted. Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores were specifically excluded from the campaign. The tag features a QR code that led to a campaign page on the Official Pokémon Mezastar website.

It was later available in a gift set given away at the Chao×Ribon Girls Comic Fes, which was held at Pacifco Yokohama, Yokohama on August 19 and 20, 2023. The gift set also included a Comprehensive How-to-Play Book and a Trial Memory tag. Children of junior high school age and below could try Get in Battle! mode or Get Now! mode and distribute one tag for free. All machines at this event ran Double Chain set 5. Mezastar Navigators Ai and Sakura were present on both days.

A transparent purple version of this tag was available as part of a gift campaign held in conjunction with the Japanese broadcast of an animated series episode on July 14, 2023. A campaign page went live on the TV Tokyo website following the broadcast, on which people could enter the keyword displayed during the episode. Correct answers were entered into a lottery to win one of fifty prize packages, which comprised a set of six exclusive tags mounted in an acrylic frame and a copy of a Koraidon, Miraidon & Pikachu Star Pokémon Set. The entry period was open until the broadcast of an animated series episode on July 21, 2023. Winners were scheduled to receive their prizes by the end of September 2023.

Trivia

Origin

This Fuecoco is based on Roy's Fuecoco as it appears in Pokémon Horizons: The Series. An image of Roy will appear in-game when Fuecoco attacks for the first time. Ember is a move that Fuecoco can use in the animated series and one it can learn in the games.
