This card was included in the Mega Evolution expansion, first released in the Japanese Mega Symphonia expansion, with artwork by AYUMI ODASHIMA. It is reprinted in the Ascended Heroes special expansion, originating from the Japanese MEGA Dream ex subset.

A Full Art ultra rare card with artwork by the same illustrator is included in the Perfect Order expansion, first released in the Japanese Nihil Zero expansion.

Rulings

  • Forest of Vitality does not override Rare Candy's effect, which states that it cannot be used to evolve a Pokémon that was put into play on the same turn.[1][2]

Trivia

  • This card's effect is similar to that of Forest of Giant Plants, with the added restrictions that this card doesn't allow players to evolve Pokémon on their first turn, and only allows Grass-type Pokémon to evolve into other Grass-type Pokémon.
