The Digger Drill (Japanese: あなほりドリル Digger Drill) is an item used to create a Secret Base in the Underground in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum or in the Grand Underground in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

In Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, it is a Trap that appears in the player's Trap inventory in the Underground instead of in their Bag; however, unlike other Traps, it cannot be buried. In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, it appears in the Treasures Pocket of the player's Bag.

The Digger Drill can be used to create a Secret Base in the Underground or Grand Underground. If the player already had a Secret Base, their previous Secret Base is removed. Using the Digger Drill consumes the item.

In Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, to use it, the player must walk to and face an area of wall, then select the Digger Drill from the Traps menu. In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the player instead has to interact with the wall where they wish to create their Secret Base.

Held item

The Digger Drill cannot be given to a Pokémon to hold.
