These (Japanese: N/A archeologists) are characters of the day who appeared in Fuecoco…Becomes a Crook?!.
The archaeologists, whose scholar was an old acquaintance of Friede, hired the Rising Volt Tacklers to move large boulders and try to lose a family of Krookodile and Krokorok who, according to them, destroyed their equipment for no reason, preventing them from continuing their excavations. However, after Roy and Fuecoco fell into a pit, they discovered that beneath the ruins lied the Pokémon's nest, whose pups were scared away from drilling noises. Angry, Krookodile and the Krokorok returned to the surface to attack the archaeologists, but they were calmed down after Fuecoco learned Disarming Voice. Having cleared up the misunderstanding, the archaeologists agreed with the Pokémon family to continue the work without disturbing them anymore.
