There are several bonus stages accessible from the two fields.

The order of Bonus Stages is: Duskull and Dusclops/Kecleon → Kyorge/Groudon → Duskull and Dusclops/Kecleon → Kyorge/Groudon → Duskull and Dusclops/Kecleon → Rayquaza → Duskull and Dusclops/Kecleon → Rayquaza, and repeat.

Duskull and Dusclops Stage

Duskull & Dusclops Bonus Stage
Dusclops

Accessible via: Fill Catch gauge, Start Slot (Sapphire Field Only).

Time Limit: 2:00

Reward: 30,000,000 points (multiplied by ball type).


This stage takes place in a small graveyard. Hit the Duskull with your ball. After hitting 20 Duskull, Dusclops will appear. Hit Dusclops's sides and back five times to beat it. Trying to hit Dusclops's front will have it grab and hold your ball for two seconds.


Kecleon Stage

Kecleon Bonus Stage
Devon Scope activated

Accessible via: Fill Catch gauge, Start Slot (Ruby Field Only).

Time Limit: 2:00

Reward: 30,000,000 points (multiplied by ball type).


This stage takes place in a small field with a tree in the center back, patches of grass, and a puddle in the center. Kecleon will wander about the stage, invisible. Hit Kecleon 16 times to beat it. Hitting the tree will cause a Devon Scope to fall from it which, when collected, causes Kecleon to become visible for five seconds.

Groudon Stage

Groudon Bonus Stage

Accessible via: Fill Catch gauge, Start Slot (Ruby Field Only).

Time Limit: 3:00

Reward: 50,000,000 points (multiplied by ball type).


This stage takes place in a volcanic crater. Groudon will drop down with three boulders and land in the back center of the stage. The boulders take four hits to break. Groudon will create fire pillars around it that take five hits to remove. Occasionally, Groudon will trap your ball for five seconds using a fire ball. It can use earthquake, causing three new boulders to fall. Also, Groudon will release a burst of energy that will cause new fire pillars to form. Hit it 15 times to defeat it.

On the second time in this stage, after beating Groudon, it will be caught.

Kyogre Stage

Kyogre Bonus Stage

Accessible via: Fill Catch gauge, Start Slot (Sapphire Field Only).

Time Limit: 3:00

Reward: 50,000,000 points (multiplied by ball type).


This stage takes place in a small bay. Kyogre will stand in the back center of the stage. Kyogre will create two whirlpools that trap your ball for five seconds. Occasionally, Kyogre will dive, surfacing twice before returning to its standing position. Also, Kyogre can freeze your ball by using Sheer Cold. To break the ice, press the flipper buttons. Hit Kyogre 15 times to defeat it.


On the second time in this stage, after beating Kyogre, it will be caught.

Rayquaza Stage

Rayquaza Bonus Stage

Accessible via: Fill Catch gauge, Start Slot.

Time Limit: 3:00

Reward: 99,999,999 points (multiplied by ball type), 1 extra ball unlocked in Mart.


This stage takes place atop Sky Pillar. Rayquaza will float up, down, and around in the back half of the stage. It can only be hit when it is touching the ground. Occasionally, Rayquaza will create mini-tornadoes that will throw your ball into the air. Also, Rayquaza can trap your ball by using Thunderbolt. Hit Rayquaza 15 times to defeat it.

On the second time in this stage, after beating Rayquaza, it will be caught.

Spheal and Sealeo Stage

Spheal/Sealeo Bonus Stage

Accessible via: Whiscash in the bumper area (Ruby Field) or hit the Pelipper switch, when flashing, and get your ball into Pelipper's mouth (Sapphire Field), Purchase for 60 coins in Mart.

Time Limit: 2:00

Reward:

  • 1,000,000 points per ball
  • 5,000,000 points per Spheal


You hit Spheal using your ball, or hit your ball, up the ramps and the Sealeo will shoot them into the basketball hoop.
